In a society as hectic as the current one, we rarely think about what the world would be like without energy resources. A planet where the increase in energy consumption, derived from economic growth, and the tendency to satisfy the greatest number of needs, makes it increasingly urgent to integrate energy efficiency and renewable energies. It is an international priority.
The history of humanity has shown that the unlimited generation of energy is the main engine for promoting the socioeconomic development of the planet. We have come a long way that has made us aware that the use of fossil fuels as a source of energy, far from guaranteeing a stable supply, produces economic dependence on the international market and considerably affects the environment.
As part of these acquired experiences and the scenarios that have changed the course of the planet towards a destination of electricity generation through renewable energy sources, and in this way, reducing the use of fossil fuels and their negative impact on the environment, our project emerges: RENOVA as a viable alternative to promote, on a small, medium and large scale, the use of renewable energy sources in the private and state sector of the Republic of Cuba.
